SMPP Proxy/Router

PROTEI SMPP Proxy/Router provides intelligent SMS and USSD message routing between SMS centers or USSD gateways and external applications.

Flexible routing rules and access policy management means messages can be routed on a range of criteria - including message type, recipient/sender numbers and application IP address - making a solution ideal for a key role within a CPA (Content Provider Access).

The system can organize message exchange between SMS centers of different operators to create a unified SMS environment.

This solution from PROTEI allows queries from external applications to be routed directly to subscribers, removing the need to use the main SMS center’s deferred delivery function when the subscriber is immediately available.

This significantly reduces the load on the operator’s SMSC and frees up its resources to let it do its main job of transmitting messages between mobile users.
