PROTEI DSL Modem enables efficient and rational networking and optimizes networking cost by providing high speed E1 and Ethernet traffic transmission simultaneously within one telecommunication line.

PROTEI DSL Modem uses existent cable infrastructure and operates with SHDSL channels within the transport network.

PROTEI DSL Modem:

• Simultaneous E1 and Ethernet traffic transmission
• Realizes multiplexing/demultiplexing Ethernet to E1 operations
• Increases carrying capacity using Ethernet’s packet header compression
• Can be constructed as an integration module or as an individual device
• Embedded Ethernet interface for control and monitoring
• Can work along with regenerators and remote power supply function (one regenerator provides with 2 SHDSL channels)

• Increases transmission distance
• Uses in-line coding scheme TC-PAM 16
